<h1><b>Remote Order Input</b></h1>
<p> The EXTAN module is used for the direct order input into the SyncroTESS system's
databases via Internet or PCs from the customer's computer network. <br>
<br>
The order input via internet can be realized with any browser after the assignment
of privileges and a corresponding access code. <br>
<br>
For an order input via computer network the SyncroTESS-server has to be integrated
into the customer's network with a network card. All PCs destined for a direct
order input have to be equipped with the operations system Windows NT, version
4.0 or higher and have to be able to establish TCP/IP communications. <br>
<br>
In both cases the transport order input is realized through a special order
input screen. After a check for formal correctness and logic plausibility the
order is directly transmitted to the SyncroTESS system.<br>
