INFORM will be equipping Hermes Logistik Gruppe’s new handling centre, which is currently under construction in Langenhagen near Hannover, with SyncroTESS. When the centre will be taken into operation in December 2010, Hermes will coordinate the entire yard logistics processes of the so-called North Hub with the transport management system SyncroTESS.

Neuss Trimodal GmbH optimises container handling with SyncroTESS
In future, the software SyncroTESS of the Aachen system house INFORM will manage and optimise the many-sided handling processes at the terminal of Neuss Trimodal GmbH. Introduced under the project name of TTMS (Trimodal Terminal Management System), the software will be fully up and running by January 2011. On the 130000 sqm terminal premises, the system will manage the transport of up to 450,000 loading units a year.

Complete roll out of SyncroSupply at Daimler AG’s Sindelfingen plant
The system SyncroSupply has been successfully up and running at Daimler AG’s Sindelfingen plant in the area of empties and the manufacturing area ‘Building 46’ since 2003. Now, Daimler has decided to install the system at their plants on a national scale and at the same time, to upgrade to the latest version.
An upgrade of the transport management system SyncroTESS is also planned for next year.

INFORM manages transport scheduling for MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH
In the future MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH is to manage all transports at their two plants in Friedrichshafen using INFORM’s transport management system SyncroTESS. After a successful start of the project in July this year, the software is ready to use at the beginning of 2010. In the future, the system will manage up to 50 fork-lift trucks, tractors and trucks. For the assignment of transport orders and their confirmation, a bi-directional interface will be implemented into the existing SAP system.

Project gets off to a successful start at University Hospital Aachen (UKA)

Special refinery H&R has turned to INFORM for help in optimising its tank waggon and road tanker management
In their refineries and special product facilities, the H&R group manufactures white oil, wax emulsions, paraffin, softening agents and many other products. In order to make the logistics processes for the dispatch of these goods more efficient, H&R Germany have assigned software specialist INFORM to implement two systems: SyncroTESS ItemControl for the management of the entire tank waggon fleet and a version of SyncroSupply, especially adapted to the needs of the chemical industry, to manage road tankers in the inbound and outbound areas.

For the last 18 months INFORM has optimised transport of patients at St. Georg hospital, Eisenach.
Over the last year and a half St. Georg hospital, Eisenach, has organised its patient transport with the help of the transport management system SyncroTESS. The software of the IT company INFORM manages the whole transport process online and automatically via a central control centre. The system having been up and running for around 18 months, St. Georg hospital, Eisenach, is now able to report a sustainable 66 per cent reduction in transport costs.

INFORM was able to supply the trial version of the transport management system SyncroTESS to the Hermes Logistics Group (HLG) in Friedewald, Hesse, only five months after commissioning. Hermes Logistics Group entrusts SyncroTESS with its second main handling base
The Hermes Logistics Group (HLG) successfully commissioned the HUB in Hückelhoven at the beginning of this year. Since then, the SyncroTESS software has been optimising the yard management and the logistical cooperation of hall and yard staff. Following this positive experience with INFORM, HLG has now ordered SyncroTESS for its new main handling base in Friedewald, Hessen. An around 18,000 m² sorting centre will go into operation there in January 2009 which can handle over 20,000 parcels every hour.

On-schedule management of all transport –
INFORM oversees vehicle fleet expansion at CLAAS
Since November 2006, INFORM has been optimising all of the on-site transport at the CLAAS site in Harsewinkel. The SyncroTESS software now controls all of the transport outside of the production facilities at the headquarters of the largest manufacturer of harvesting machinery. INFORM controls on-site transport at Dillinger Hüttenwerke AG
Dillinger Hüttenwerke AG will be controlling its on-site transport with SyncroTESS from July 2007. With a workforce of over 5,000, the company produces pig-iron, steel and heavy plating at its site in Dillingen. SynchroTESS will be used for the optimal scheduling of 45 vehicles in total, amongst them tractors to pull roll pallets, lorries and dumper trucks for transportation of tubs. The system will also control passive transport resources. This way Dillinger Hüttenwerke AG is able to improve scheduling, minimise empty miles and increase productivity.
