Invitation to the workshop during the TOC Americas 2008

For the first time ever, the TOC Americas Conference and Exhibition will be held on the US West Coast, in the heart of North America’s largest container handling complex in Long Beach. The event is entitled "Forces for Change". The conference will reflect on the many new important aspects such as the influence of rising energy prices and the growing environmental pressure on the planning and operation of marine container terminals in North America and LAC.

Together with our partner HPC Hamburg Port Consulting, we will be presenting on stand E22 our TERMINALSTAR product range, which enables intelligent and dynamic real-time optimisation of terminal resources and increased terminal productivity.

Within this framework we will held a workshop on "Aims and Benefits of Terminal Automation Projects" on Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 at 4.30 pm.

Small automation steps can also offer high optimisation potential. Extensive automation has to go hand in hand with modern optimisation. We would like to offer you a workshop so that you can experience the possibilities offered through automation and optimisation.
We will introduce applications for the different areas of a terminal with the aid of our product suite TERMINALSTAR. The practical realisation will be presented using one of the most comprehensive automation projects presently available.
