Selection of SyncroTESS to optimize the order scheduling for all cement works of Lafarge Cement in Poland

INFORM has been commissioned to supply its SyncroTESS system for the optimization of the order scheduling at Lafarge Cement in Poland. The go live for the project is anticipated to take place in early 2009.

The system will take the orders from the Lafarge ERP system and optimize the loading schedule based on constrains such as the availability of the individual product, available transport capacities and requirements on the loading technology. The individual loads will be assigned to carriers on the basis of contracts maintained in the system. Customers and hauliers will be informed of the planned delivery on site time or their loading time slots - for ex-works orders - by SMS or email.

SyncroTESS is used in the Lafarge group by several business units in Europe to optimize the logistics for cement, aggregates & asphalt as well as ready-mix concrete. This project is the second order scheduling project within 12 months time that Lafarge Cement has commissioned INFORM to deliver.
