Optimise and synchronise instead of organise and manage

The SyncroTESS transport management system optimises the use of fork lifts, tractors, lift trucks and other industrial trucks as well as vans and trucks

• in internal transport between various loading points on site in production, warehouse and yard logistics,
• in local works traffic between production, supplier plants, external storage areas and
• in regional works traffic between various works, warehouses, distribution centres and other logistics locations.

Transport orders are reported to the system automatically via EDP interfaces or manually (stationary terminals, mobile RDT devices, mobile phone, etc.). Their assignment to the drivers and confirmation on completion of each order is by means of WLAN or GPRS to mobile terminals.

The decisive benefit of SyncroTESS is the dynamic calculation of optimised settlement sequences in realtime: as soon as a new order is reported to the system or as soon as a delay or malfunction appears somewhere, it simultaneously calculates a new optimisation result in seconds, i.e. on the basis of all(!) orders known to the system and all(!) available vehicles.

The system optimises the sequence and assignment of orders to the available vehicles so that

• the sequence of its settlement is synchronised in the best possible way with reported order priorities and dates,
• the times of transports are based on the superior requirements of production,
• the vehicles travel the shortest possible routes,
• their loading capacities are utilised and
• their utilisation is spread as evenly as possible over the day.

The solution also supports multi-level transports, such as warehouse and yard transports between halls or transports in the supply chain between locations.
