Organising an efficient hospital logistics system is by no means easy. Transport equipment, staff and functional areas have to be coordinated at all times to guarantee optimum care for the patient.
SyncroTESS not only networks all areas and work processes in the hospital, it also supports intelligent scheduling of the complete process organisation. The integrated realtime control makes sure that the MRP controller can keep track of things at all times. SyncroTESS replans each work process by means of intelligent optimization algorithms with every new event. But the system still remains easy and comfortable to operate. Transport orders and order chains can be entered with a few shortcuts, assigned times or placed on call. A GANTT chart shows the MRP controller in a clearly arranged bar chart which transport orders were, are and will be chronologically assigned to which transportation groups.
The scheduling and optimisation of runners and vehicles is carried out automatically and online. A mobile communication device shows each transport employee his or her individual order. This guarantees that the right employee is always present at the right place and right time with the necessary material to ensure optimum patient care.
SyncroTESS can be used to settle both finished transport orders as well as unnecessary trips internally – patient transports to the case number, material transports to the cost centre. The software also offers extensive process control through perfected controlling functions (reporting).
